Ram Navami 2024: This time on Ram Navami, there will be no sale of meat in Bengaluru, Karnataka. Bruhat Bengaluru Municipal Corporation (BBMP) has banned the sale of meat there on Wednesday (April 17, 2024). It was told by the Joint Director of the Animal Husbandry Department of the State Government that during this period there will be a complete ban on the sale of meat in the city.
Meanwhile, there will be tight security arrangements in Hyderabad in view of the Ram Navami procession on April 17. Police Commissioner Kothakota Srinivas Reddy, besides inspecting the route of the main procession, also held a coordination meeting with the organizers and other departments. Apart from the main procession from Sitarambagh Temple to Hanuman Gymnasium, many processions will be taken out in the city, which need to be monitored. However, there will also be some inter-commissioner processions. The Commissioner has directed to keep all CCTV cameras operational and keep an eye on social media, habitual criminals and history-sheeters. It was also told that during that time, bursting crackers, throwing vermilion or gulal on passers-by and carrying sticks/swords/pistols etc. is strictly prohibited.
Ayodhya, queue will start from 3.30 in the morning, all passes already canceled
To ensure that the devotees do not face any problem on Ram Navami in Ayodhya, UP, the Trust will make arrangements for the devotees to line up from 3.30 am. Champat Rai, General Secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra, said that passenger convenience center and railway reservation center will be set up on the Darshan Marg. Arrangements are being made for devotees to stand in line at Brahma Muhurta from 3.30 am. Booking of all types of special passes, darshan-aarti etc. has already been cancelled. Everyone will have to go through the same route. The darshan time has been increased to 19 hours, which will continue from Mangala Aarti till 11 pm.
